Rules of the Instagram Contest

#TheRomanticChoice

Which is the most romantic place you’ve ever seen?
Discover it at Lake Iseo

The aim of the Instagram Contest #TheRomanticChoice is to promote and to raise awareness about @Visitlakeiseo brand and its slogan. By using Instagram (smartphone or tablet mobile app) everybody will be able to take part in the competition, by sharing posts with the hashtag #theromanticchoice.

The best picture, according to regulations and awarded by a selected jury, will win an exclusive visit including wine tasting for two people at a winery in Franciacorta and two bottles of the renowned Franciacorta Satèn. Prizes are kindly provided by the “Strada del Franciacorta” Association – www.franciacorta.net.

There will also be “moral prizes” as the best pictures participating in the contest will be included in a global tourist promotion campaign and re-published on “Visit Lake Iseo” social networks and on the www.iseolake.info website.
Authors will always have their names published.

 

Art. 1 - Istitution

Instagram Contest is promoted by the “G16” – the territorial aggregation of the 16 municipalities around Lake Iseo, under the approved, financed project by Lombardy Region, focused on the combined tourist promotion and development of tourism on Lake Iseo. 

The contest is sponsored by the Association “Strade del Franciacorta” that will be mentioned in daily reposts of the best selected pics.

Art. 2 - Theme of the contest
Shared pictures must show romantic places around Lake Iseo according to the photographers’ points of view. You can find more information and get inspired on the www.iseolake.info website. Sharing photos of the lake area, both in the Bergamo and the Brescia Provinces, will let everybody compete in a friendly manner with all social network friends and it will be the central idea of everybody who, by appreciating visual arts, wish to value the beauty of this places.

Art. 3 - Partecipatory requirements

All photography enthusiasts and photographers living in Italy and residing abroad can take part in the contest.
Participation is open and free by sharing from your Instagram social network public profile.

Art. 4 - Terms
The contest starts on Saturday, March 5, 2016 and finishes on Saturday, April 30, 2016 , 12.00 UTC+1.00

Art. 5 - How to take part in the contest

  • Follow the Instagram @visitlakeiseo profile;

  • Publish photos by smartphone or tablet on your own Instagram profile (in case you don’t have one, you can create it for free by downloading the Instagram App);

  • Imagines must represent beautiful, characteristic places settled in one of the 16 municipalities around Lake Iseo: Iseo, Lovere, Sarnico, Pisogne, Costa Volpino, Castro, Solto Collina, Riva di Solto, Parzanica, Tavernola, Predore, Paratico, Sulzano, Sale Marasino, Marone e Monte Isola;

  • Insert #TheRomanticChoice hashtag in the comment. The imagine will automatically enter in the competition. Limitless number of pictures can be published by every author.

  • All styles and formats are accepted, as well as editing, black and white photos and any artistic form of art to better reflect the contest theme.

Art. 6 - Judges

Pictures will be evaluated by a selected jury made up of “G16” nominated representatives and spokespeople of the mobile photography world.
Originality, inventiveness, cohesion to the central theme and high expressive quality will be awarded.

Art. 7 - Responsability and duties

By taking part in the competition, the authors prove and guarantee that pictures:

  • Are upload and shot for the contest by the own mentioned author ;

  • Contain no indecent, aggressive, sexual, obscene or libelous subjects;

  • Contain no sex, racial or religious discriminating subjects;

  • Are politically free;

  • Are published with the permission of people in them;

  • Every competitors must be sure that the publication of pictures doesn’t create any legal controversy;

  • Improper pictures can be removed by the organizing committee;

  • Winning Instagramers will always mention #TheRomanticChoice prize talking about their awarded pictures.

Art. 8 - Catalog and printing

The pictures tagged by #TheRomanticChoice hastag could be re-utilized by the tourist district and published on pamphlets, websites and social media for promotional and institutional purposes.
Participants give exclusive rights to the tourist district to use images in connection with the competition or not.
A photo credit will be given to the photographer in any Instagram use, if requested.
By taking part in the contest, the author, having read and accepted terms and conditions, authorises the processing of his personal data

La partecipazione al contest implica la visione e l'accettazione dei termini previsti e il consenso al trattamento di dati personali.

Art. 9 - Prizes
The author of the winning picture awarded by a selected jury, will win an exclusive  visit including wine tasting for two people at a winery in Franciacorta and two bottles of the renowned Franciacorta Satèn. Prizes are kindly provided by the “Strada del Franciacorta” Association– www.franciacorta.net.

Art. 10 - Winner's proclamation

The winner will be contacted by the organizing committee one week after the end of the contest by the Instagram Direct service, and he will be proclaimed winner through a special post on the @visitlakeiseo Instagram profile

Art. 11 - Advertising

This document is published on the www.iseolake.info website and published through social networks, blogs, newspapers, on line magazines, websites and dedicated press.

Art. 12 -Processing of personal data

In compliance with Legislative Decree 196/03, personal data provided by the winner is collected to award the prize. The person concerned has the right to access his own data to amend, update or cancel incorrect, incomplete or which does not comply with the law information.
